Buick Envision Takes Home the Gold in 2021 J.D. Power Dependability Study

April 10th, 2021 by

Buick has been a cornerstone of the American auto industry ever since it first launched in 1903. For the last century, the brand has never once wavered in its commitment to providing drivers just like you with the very best. That devotion is clearly still alive and well in 2021, as the Buick Envision recently claimed the top spot for compact SUVs in the 2021 J.D. Power Dependability Study.

This year marks the 32nd time J.D. Power has performed the Vehicle Dependability Study. Its purpose is to highlight models with the fewest issues overall, as reported by drivers who’ve owned their cars for 3 years. The score is based on how many problems individuals experienced per 100 vehicles. The lower the score, the better the performance.

The Envision earned the coveted top spot in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, beating out the Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester. Buick came in fifth among all evaluated vehicles with a score of 100, crushing would-be competitors like Ford, INFINITI, and Volvo, which scored 130, 137, and 143, respectively. It also handily surpassed the industry average of 121 by a clean 21-point margin.

Now that the all-new 2021 Envision is finally on lots all over Colorado, we can’t help but assume that Buick’s winning streak is far from over. Once you give it a test drive at Transwest Buick GMC, you may have a hard time disagreeing.
